Unfortunately, the PICT format reacts differently in various Mac programs. Because of this, Mac users have limitations depending on the software program you use.

For some programs, images will NOT have a transparent background for overlapping directly on top of other images (there will be a white box around the image).

ClarisWorks®: Although this program has the benefits of the "transparent" background, image quality is not as good as other software programs when printed, however, http://www.coolclipart.com has some great "tips & tricks" for overcoming this problem. Follow their instructions to get excellent print quality.

Click on the sample image below and download the sample image file to your computer so you can test it in your software program to make sure you can use our clipart. "Save" the image file called "bee.pct" (or if you use the "Corel Print House®" software program, it will be called "penguin.pct") to your "desktop" (or any folder on your hard drive where you will be able to find it again), then start up your software program (ClarisWorks®, The Print Shop®, PrintMaster®, Corel Print House®, etc.)

Start with a "blank" worksheet on your screen, then use the "import", "insert" or "place" command within your software program to bring in the saved clipart image onto your worksheet.

Refer to your software program's user manual if you need instructions on how to import or insert graphics from an outside source.
