PrintMaster Gold® (Version 3.0)
by MicroLogic® Software, Inc.

The following instructions were based on the Windows version. (Macintosh version similar, but may vary slightly. Also, these instructions are for use with our NEW version clipart. Macintosh users who purchased our original version of "Li'l Kritters & Li'l Darlin's" (200 image version), use either the "GIF" or "JPG" folder for importing images. You'll need to see which format works best for you.)

Start the PrintMaster Gold program. Select your project, example: "CARDS", "MAKE YOUR OWN", choose your card size, "OK". Click on "VIEW", and make sure "TOOLBAR", "FORMAT BAR", "SIDEBAR" and "STATUS BAR" have a (check mark) next to them. Click on those that do not.

If using our CD-ROM version of clipart ... insert our clipart CD into your CD-Rom Drive (you can leave the PrintMaster Gold CD in if you are using the "Tidbits To Go" clipart which is NOT on CD-Rom)

NOTE: For "Tidbits To Go" clipart which is NOT on CD-ROM, you need to replace "CD-Rom" drive with "c" drive, and "WMF" folder will instead be "Lww" folder for the instructions below.

Click "ADD", "PICTURE". In the upper left corner of your window, click "FILE", "OPEN FROM DISK". Under "Drives", click on the upside-down triangle (arrow), then click on the icon for your CD-Rom drive. Double-click on the "WMF" folder (Macintosh Users: "Macintosh" folder, "PICT1" folder). Click anywhere inside the list of files. Type the name of the clipart image you want to import (ex: C075 or c6101). Use the "down arrow" key on your keyboard to see neighboring images. Double-click on the image's filename you want to insert.

SIZING the image: Put your pointer on a corner of the image. You should see two opposing arrows. Hold down your "SHIFT" key on the keyboard, and at the same time click and drag inward to reduce, or drag outward to enlarge. Holding down the "SHIFT" key keeps your image in proportion.

When done, click outside the worksheet area to exit the text editor.

In the "EDIT TEXT" menu to the left, under "Horizontal:" click the upside-down triangle (arrow) to find the alignment you want.
